Bon & Tachai Dive Sites

Crab on the bottom of Koh Bon

Intermediate | 5-30m | Moderate currents

Koh Bon dive site is famous for large schools of manta rays around the island. Depending on the direction of the current the dive can be done on both sides of the western tip of the island starting from a shallow bay which quickly becomes on wall dive and descends all the way down to 25 meters. After this the wall covered in red and purple soft coral goes on all the way down to 40 meters where numerous manta rays reside. It's also possible to spot leopard sharks, reef sharks and sometimes even nurse sharks on this scuba diving dive site.

Scuba Diving at Koh Tachai

Intermediate | 5-18m | Strong currents

Koh Tachai dive site has an astonishing reef, which is only accessible on a good weather around the time of full moon. This is because of quite strong currents and fast changing weather conditions. But when the reef is accessible it is unbelievable; a gorgeous twofold reef boasting with both soft and hard coral. Very generous underwater life guarantees an unforgettable dive. Highlights are turtles, huge schools of bat fish and sometimes the passing manta rays.
